SURFACE PAINTING AND CARE RECOMMENDATIONS • Mix the paint thoroughly before use.
• Do not dilute the paint when applying with a brush; when painting with a roller, it is allowed to add diluent up to 10% by volume; when using a low-pressure or high-pressure sprayer, it is permitted to add a diluent of up to 15% by volume; thinner HAMMERITE (Brush Cleaner & Thinner).
• To ensure even coloring without color differences, mix sufficient amounts of paint in the paint containers.
• When painting with a brush or roller, apply 2 coats to the surface; using a high-pressure sprayer - 2-3 coats, using a low-pressure sprayer - 3-4 coats.
• During the application and drying of the paint, the air and surface temperature must be + 5… 35 ° C (recommended + 18 ± 2 ° C), relative humidity <80%. Painting should be avoided in windy weather as well as when direct sunlight falls on the surface, as excessive solvent evaporation may result in an uneven and poor quality paint film on the surface.
• Use clean water as well as neutral or weakly alkaline cleaning agents (pH <8) to clean the contaminated surface during operation. After using the cleaning agent, the surface should be rinsed thoroughly with water, as prolonged exposure to alkali may make the painted surface matte. Higher water temperatures speed up surface cleaning. Use a soft brush or sponge as a tool. The use of strong alkaline cleaners should be avoided.
