The Gardena Connection Unit connects the faucet to the Sprinklersystem underground Gardena Sprinkler System or the Gardena Piping System. The kit includes the Gardena Multi-Flow System Profi Threaded Tap Connector (Art.No .: 2713-20). When the irrigation system valve or water connector is connected, the hose connection is under continuous pressure; in this case the pressure in the hose connection must be stabilized by means of a transition coupling (Art. no. 1513-1520). The pop-up, spherical cap disappears as soon as the joint is open and thus does not create any obstacles when mowing the lawn. Wide edges prevent grass from growing inside the cover. When the lid is open, the removable filter prevents dirt from entering the socket. The Gardena connector has a 3/4 "external thread.
