MASS OF BITUMEN ASKOVIL

Description

The bituminous mass Askowil (10 kg) of Izolex is an asphalt and rubber mass highly modified with synthetic rubber with the addition of resins and chemical compounds improving adhesion to various substrates and the possibility of applying to slightly moist substrates. The high rubber content (after evaporation of the thinner) creates a coating with extremely elastoplastic properties, strongly bound to the substrate, able to compensate for significant movements of the substrate and leveling its microcracks. The coating is completely resistant to water, weak acids, alkalis and aggressive compounds contained in the soil. It contains an organic solvent. Used for waterproofing foundations and water reservoirs.
