Hecht 962 Product Description:
The HECHT 962 is a semi-professional petrol chainsaw with a displacement of 62 cm³ and a power output of 4HP (3 kW). An engine is equipped with a decompression valve, quality WALBRO carburettor and primer pump. With its specification is this chainsaw suitable for frequent cutting and can handle also pruning of branches or chopping large quantities of firewood without any problem. It is also suitable for felling trees and cutting big wood blocks.
The safety features such as a chain brake or a spiked bumper is a matter of course. The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic oil pump; the quantity of oil to chain lubrication is regulated. HECHT 962 has also rubber silentblocks which ensure good springing. Sturdy and secure grip provides a high quality metal handle with rubber coating.
The chainsaw produced until 2016 is supplied with a chain bar made by American producer OREGON with a lenght of 50 cm and a chain size 3/8 ”, 1.3 mm, 72 links.
From 2017 are equipped with a chain bar OREGON with a lenght of 45 cm and with a chain size 3/8 ”, 1.5 mm, 64 links.
The chainsaw weighs 6.3 kg (w / o cutting equipment).
